Last October, South African artist Muzi made his Fool's Gold debut with uMUZI, an autobiographical collection of music with vignettes of the artist's journey from childhood to fatherhood . In 2024, this project has been reimagined for the club with remixes from Dan Kye, Edd, Emmaculate, and monocolour, a brand new alias from Kyptogram. Multi instrumentalist Jordan Rakei, know by his electronic soul-jazz alias Dan Kye, delivers a remix that even adds his own falsetto vocals to “Queen” — an anthem that already featured Chris Martin (yes, that Chris Martin). Malta's Edd transforms both "Light" and "Queen” into tasteful tech house bangers. Chicago's Emmaculate turns fan favorite "Milk & Honey” (feat. The Last Skeptic) into a nighttime Afro house weapon. Kyptogram, who has been making waves with his project kypt. vol2, premieres his new monocolour alias with a huge remix of "Queen" complete with powerful synth lines and live percussions.
